Specific Media joins European Interactive Advertising Association
London, UK – 19th November 2008 - Specific Media, the leading independent online advertising network, today announced that it has joined the European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA), the pan-European trade organisation for the interactive media business, with immediate effect.
The primary objectives of the EIAA are to champion and to improve the understanding of the value of online advertising as a medium and to grow the European interactive advertising market by proving its effectiveness, thus increasing its share of total advertising investment. Specific Media joins the organisation alongside existing members including Yahoo! Europe, eBay, Lycos Network Europe and CNN International.
The EIAA member companies are represented by a dynamic group of senior executives who have had the vision and experience to influence the future shape of the interactive advertising business at a pan-European level; Rupert Staines, Vice President of Specific Media Europe, will sit on the board on behalf of Specific Media.
