Specific Media Boosts European Presence with Expansion into Sweden
Online advertising network brings world-class technology and client service to Sweden's advertising and publishing communities
London, UK – 8 March 2010 – Specific Media, the pioneering online advertising specialist, today announced its expansion into Sweden. The opening of its Stockholm office follows launches in Denmark and Norway in 2009 and reflects the company's aggressive growth strategy for Northern Europe.
Industry veteran Göran Eklöf has been recruited as Country General Manager to drive operations in Sweden. He brings more than twelve years experience in media and online to the role, including leadership positions at both Yahoo! and TradeDoubler. He also launched a search engine and a pay-per-click ad network in Sweden as part of search portal Schibsted Sök. In this role he was operatively and strategically responsible for launching, developing and commercialising Schibsted's investment in search.

Göran was educated in economics at the University of Stockholm and has since studied business and corporate analytics in Belgium and Sweden respectively.
