Specific Media appoints Chris Worrell as European Research Manager
14 March 2011 – Specific Media, Europe’s largest independent digital media platform, today announced the appointment of Chris Worrell, former News International Insight Manager, to the newly created position of European Research Manager.
In this role, Worrell will be in charge of designing, developing and implementing Specific Media’s new research strategy, which will further enhance the insight and intelligence upon which the company’s reputation has been built. He will also be responsible for producing in-depth consumer insight research and bespoke analysis for clients.

Worrell joins from News International where he worked for five years. During his time at the newspaper publisher he held a number of positions, ultimately progressing to Insight Manager where he established and ran the pioneering flagship Consumer Eye and Brand Eye insight projects and commissioned the first paywall advertising research project. Prior to this he was at The Publishing Consultancy where he held a research role across the Bauer portfolio.
